An extremely rare George V era Household Cavalry trumpet banner (1910-1936). 

A crimson damask silk ground, embroidered with the Royal Coat of Arms of George V in gold and silver bullion wire. Edged along 3 sides with a gold thread fringe. 

Professionally mounted, framed and glazed.

Condition: 

Only one beaded eye remains on the beasts. Some insect damage to the damask in particualr under the lion. This does not detract from the overall look of the piece. Measures 62 cm x 71 cm overall.
